And a chain of restaurants called “Steak 21”, converted a plane belonging to Indonesia Airlines “Lion”, which went out of service in 2017, into a restaurant to attract more customers.
The “Airplane Restaurant” is one of the places frequented by Indonesians from neighboring cities, and is located in the plaza of a shopping center in the city of Bekasi, east of the capital Jakarta, while maintaining the original shape of the plane, and changing only the seats.

Located in a mall in Kuala Lumpur, the first quick service restaurant is called Santan, which means coconut milk in Malay and is the brand Air Asia uses on its in-flight menus.
Dishes cost about $3 and include local dishes such as chicken rice and the airline’s iconic dish, pak naser nasi lemak, a rice dish with chili sauce. The menu offers coffee, tea and local sweets as well.
