Staff at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando in Florida found Bob Saget dead in his room at 4 p.m. on January 9, 2022, at the age of 65, and immediately called an emergency medical squad that took him from the scene. There were no indications that he died from a drug or drink, and the police said that they did not discover any trace of his drug use. The night before his death, Saget was in the midst of a backup run on Ponte Vida Beach in Florida.
